Why is what the woman did wrong?
Because she killed her baby?
Or because she didn't kill her baby "the right way?"
If the latter, why does that necessitate a murder charge? Seems like she should be charged with practicing medicine without a license, if anything.

By this logic I should be able to distribute opiods. A Dr. can do it, why can't I? Same outcome right?
Oh yeah, because one is a medical professional and does it in a sterile environment, while the other was a drug addict injecting illegal drugs into herself with dirty needles.
Say what you want about abortion, but there is a difference between this and getting a medical abortion by a licensed physician. If you say otherwise, you are just letting emotions get the best of you.

So drug dealers should be charged with the same? They are just unlicensed physicians distributing controlled substances.
