Are you knowledgeable in construction do's and don'ts? You could start your own construction company and have others work for you. Maybe go it alone on small, one-man jobs at first until you get on solid footing. Invest your earnings into your business until you are able to hire one employee to help you. Do that for another year or so as you re-invest the extra income provided by having an extra man (getting more jobs done in the same amount of time) as though it was still only you. Once you grow some more, hire more until you're running for Governor.
