I think LSU has been helped by this bias more than it's been hurt by it. I don't think the media is out to get LSU. When the Tigers take care of their business they get plenty of respect nationally. But until they get over the bama hump, it's going to be hard to take LSU seriously.

It's like Tennesse back in the 90s. The talk was, "Oh they're good but they can't beat Florida." That became all that mattered. Good team. Good program. Can't beat Florida. After they finally beat Florida they won the whole damn thing.
