My pipes are wrapped & I plan to leave kitchen & back bathroom sinks dripping tomorrow night

I went out got gas, bread, water. I am a bit confused by the preparation for a winter storm, but I went with what I know.

Maybe plumbing is different down there than it is in North Carolina, but up here when a freeze of plumbing pipes is a legitimate concern, we normally leave our faucets dripping instead of our sinks.
