I feel like OP is doing more than just a rough back of the napkin guess on a cost.
Based on that, randomly throwing in that much extra as "contingency" is a sure fire way to not sell very much.

That is a very generic statement to make when you have no idea what kind of service OP is providing
For Example: I know someone who does wedding flowers - typically gets 1/3 of the total fee as her profit after costs / labor and can pretty much book as much as she wants throughout the year.
