Kick it. Getting the ball after half will be huge with adjustments. Make them drive the length of the field to start.

I think scoring an early touchdown on Bama would have a huge negative mental effect on Bama and a positive one on us. They are so used to completely shutting down our offense that it would probably make both sides think that it really is different this time.

Would love to do that but, gotta believe that their DC will have some trick defense planned that might take us 2-3 possessions to figure out how to block. Might be some form of Auburn's 3-1-7 but Saban probably will have the defenses disguised so that it is difficult for Joe B to make a good pre-snap read.
Still think we will eventually solve Saban's puzzles this year and snap the streak.

There aren't a bunch of trick defenses out there that will work. You also better believe our guys are anticipating any changes. Them coming out in formations they haven't played all year is already a win for us.

We didn't anticipate Auburn's 3-1-7 and it took us some time to determine how to block it. But we eventually wore them down. Hopefully we can do the same Saturday, regardless of the disguises that Saban throws at SE/JB/JB.
