Teams in action last night went 1-1.
LSU kept their conference road winning streak alive with a 89-85 overtime win against Texas A&M. The Tigers were led by Trendon Watford's 19 points & 11 rebounds and Skylar Mays' 19 point effort. The Tigers also got double figure scoring performances from Javonte Smart, Darius Days and Emmitt Williams who scored 18, 16 & 10 points respectively. LSU improves to 12-4 on the season and 4-0 in the SEC.
In the other game last night, Tulane lost to UCF 55-74. The Wave got double digit scoring efforts from Christion Thompson (19), Nic Thomas (12) and KJ Lawson (10) in the loss. Tulane drops to 10-7 on the year and 2-3 in AAC play.
It's a Southland Wednesday tonight as every state school in the conference is in action including an in state match up in Thibodaux. See below for the schedule.

McNeese vs Incarnate Word - 6:30pm
Northwestern State @ Nicholls - 7pm
Southeastern vs Texas A&M-CC - 7pm
UNO @ Houston Baptist - 7pm

Last night was pretty good as teams in action went 4-1.
Northwestern State hit a three at the buzzer to win at Nicholls 73-72. The Demons were led by Jairus Roberson's 24 points and got double doubles from both Chudier Bile (10 points & 10 rebounds) and Trenton Massner (10 points & 12 rebounds) as well as a 10 point effort from John Norvel in the win. The Colonels had five players in double figures including Warith Alatishe (18), Elvis Harvey (15), Dexter McClanahan (14), Kevin Johnson (10) and D'Angelo Hunter (10) but it wasn't quite enough. Northwestern State improves to 7-9 overall and 4-3 in the Southland while Nicholls drops to 11-7 and 5-2.
McNeese beat Incarnate Word 72-56. AJ Lawson was the leading scorer for the Cowboys with 19 points and Shamarkus Kennedy had a double double with 12 points & 16 rebounds. Dru Kruxhausen added a 15 point effort in the win. McNeese is now 8-9 on the year and back to .500 in conference at 3-3.
Southeastern picked up a 62-56 win over Texas A&M-CC. Byron Smith, Maxwell Starwood and Ty Brewer were the double figure scorers for the Lions with 16, 12 & 11 points respectively in the win. Southeastern improves to 5-12 on the season and 2-4 in SLC play.
UNO got a 106-98 road win at Houston Baptist. The Privateers got two twenty point efforts from Bryson Robinson who scored 26 and Raquan Brown who scored 20. Troy Green and Ahren Freeman both scored 19 and Gerrale Gates had 11 points in the win. UNO now sits at 6-11 overall and 2-5 in the SLC.
