Teams in action last night were 1-1.

The Tigers had four players reach double figure points including Cam Christon (17), Devante Jackson (14), Ivy Smith, Jr. (11) and Trevell Cunningham (10) but still came up short. Grambling drops to 9-8 on the season and 3-1 in SWAC play.

Southern picked up their first SWAC win with a 56-50 victory over Jackson State. Lamarcus Lee and Micah Bradford led the way for the Jags with 18 points & 14 points respectively in the win. Southern is now 4-13 this year and 1-3 in conference.

And in the last game of the day Louisiana Tech picked up a 64-61 road win at UTEP. The Bulldogs were led by Amorie Archibald, Derric Jean and Daquan Bracey who scored 14, 13 & 12 points respectively in the win. Louisiana Tech now sits at 12-4 on the year and 3-1 in CUSA play.

Fun fact from this game. UTEP was on an 18-1 run late in the second half and was on the verge of going up double-digits and their coach won "Dumbass of the Year" by getting a technical foul for arguing a questionable call

Bulldogs hit both free throws which stopped the bleeding and LA Tech was able to regain composure and went on to win the game

I have never seen such incompetence from a division 1 head coach
