The sudden movement could have 'snapped' what was left of it.
Before my first surgery my doctor (not the orthopedic) said that I had to have felt a 'pop' with my injury. Kept telling him I didn't. Anyway after my mri I was sent to my orthopedic who said the same. So i had my surgery and did my PT.
When my second surgery happened I had the same argument with both doctors. My orthopedic had me do my PT at his clinic and with his head PT. She put me on a table and damn near had me crying with her moving and digging into my shoulder.
She then said 'ah there it is'.... basically my stabilizer muscles were so 'strong and overdeveloped' due to me compensating for the pain that I never felt a pop and mine was a slow, painful and overall bad tear (all tears are bad but instead of small tear I almost shredded the entire thing).
Sorry for the novel but after my third surgery I had telling my PT (a guy) that I hurt myself by trying to have hardcore sex with a fat girl.

I wonder how that would go over with my wife?
