While I don't agree with bogging down the government with pettiness, I wouldn't be upset about it.
They have 0 foresight and are all about "win" now because dem voters are so fickle. Just like when they created precedent for the "nuclear" option for cloture on executive nominations. McConnell warned them that they would regret doing so, and they sure have.

If we don't somehow find a way for the gov't to bring people together, avoid political machinations, partisan bullshite and just move the country / gov't forward into the 21st century, we are in a lot of trouble in the long run.
