SEC Network "LSU faced adversity, Ala hasn't"

SEC Network Peter Burns noted that LSU has faced adversity, has faced great offenses and defenses, and faced the best Dlineman in all of college football. He noted the last time Alabama players faced adversity was vs Clemson, they lose by 28, that’s gotta play on a football player's mentality.

Whether they faced adversity or not, Alabama will be ready to play this game. We will get their best effort, because we always do.
For the first time in a while though, LSU may just be the better team. Their best effort may not be able to beat ours. That's refreshing.

Correct, but if we dick around like we did v. Auburn that may not be good enough.
LSU has to have the mindset that 45 points is the minimum we need to put on the board in Tuatown.

I do agree with this and I think that under normal circumstances this is definitely true.
But in this case you also are faced with recent history between the schools.
Bama will be confident because of the last 8 years.
LSU needs to be confident in what they have proven so far this year. We truly have shown to be the best team in the country and we need to walk into that God forsaken place and show the Gumps that we are here to stay as we walk out with a W!
Joe wins the Heisman in two weeks and LSU rolls into the playoffs.
Lets GEAUX!
