Not sure but I wouldn't think Pelosi's endorsement is being sought.

I was being facetious. Of course it isn't being sought because that endorsement would bring into focus Hood's true political nature.
Somebody ought to spoof a radio or TV ad with Obama telling folks to go out and vote for Hood:
Heeees your best choice for governor, Mississippi. Aaaaand like me, he supports the efforts of the house Democrats to impeach President Trump.

He seems popular though as AG. In 2015, he won 55-44, 61-38 in 2011.

I would have preferred a conservative other than Tate too.
Jim Hood, however, is a liberal. Dyed. In. The. Wool. He just keeps this fact on the downlow because he knows it is death in Mississippi politics. Which is also why Pelosi and Obama have not endorsed him even though they are politically aligned with him.
