It's the norm for a former president to let the primary process play out before endorsing the nominee.

e.g. it wasn't until May 1988 that Reagan finally endorsed G.H.W. Bush. ("I'm going to work as hard as I can to make Vice President George Bush the next president of the United States").

Obama’s not even piping up to defend his “best friend”.

Don't bring facts like this to the conversation. I'll rather believe he's staying out of the process because he doesn't like Biden.
