Has anyone worked in operations at Shell Geismar? Ive searched all over for information specific to the Geismar location with no luck. What are the differences between Geismar and the union plants such as Norco such as benifits, pay, bonuses, vacation, pension, additional pay? Additional pay such as where im at now it is relatively easy to work a day of double time pay per month or two, holliday pay is 2.5x. Any specific units that need to be avoided such as ones that require 1000+ OT hours a year? (I know the pay,benifits, etc. Of the Norco-union site).

I've always heard that Geismar is the Shell dream job compared to Norco/Convent.

I have heard that too, not specifically compared to shell Union plants.. would like to know specifics
