The amount of radio spots against St. George amazes me. The latest one I heard was about taxes going up a'la Central/Zachary. I don't mind paying a little extra if the crime is lower, public education is better and waste is cut. Right now it's all being pissed in the wind with nothing to show for it.

Zachary has been a city for decades now and I don’t think they have high city taxes. Central City either.
Now when each got an ISD their citizens voted tax increases, but that’s school related.
