Early in the season I remember hearing that we would see Brooks some while Chaisson was recovering. I remember seeing him just a few times. Based on his film I was hopeful he might be able to have an impact pretty early. I had similar thoughts after seeing McCallums video. Especially after hearing he had a growth spurt. I was wondering if anyone had insight as to why we haven't seen more Brooks with all the injuries we have had or any of McCallum that I can recall? I'm not complaining. In my case I just had some expectations for them and especially after hearing good things on Brooks early on.

McCallum isn't ready to play over Phillips, Queen, Clark, or Baskerville. I would bet it's more the mental part of the game at this point. With Marcel, I'm not sure they've found the role for him yet they are looking for. They like him as an OLB to rush the passer, he's just a little light in the arse.

I'm not sure Brooks hasn't spent some time serving suspension either.

Its been interesting

I don't know if Brooks well ever be a full on BOLB like Chaisson. He is 190 right now.

But i coudl see him playing the position Stevens plays now.

I also feel like Stevens was pretty good rushing the passer at the end of last year, but we haven't been seeing him do that a lot this year.

He has, he just hasn't got to the QB much. He's also struggled in coverage. He'll come around.

There's simply too much depth. LSU has 14 linebackers on scholarship. Brooks has gotten on the field though, and I think even McCallum saw playing time vs NW st.
