Get a new doctor if they actually recommended letting the baby cry it out for 6 hours at 3 weeks old. It’s one thing for them to “fuss” some, that’s normal. But not screaming and crying for 6 hours. Your normal human animal instincts, or surely your wife’s maternal instincts, should have told you that! Dumb.
