McGregor's and old Hogans are real persimmon.
I use to own a Wood Brothers Big Tex driverwhich was beautiful.
The old Ping Eye O Matics were laminated.

I grew up playing with a Wilson Staff driver & 3 wood. I played with them until the mid 1970's.

I recently discovered my father still has his entire set of Macgregor Persimmon woods. 1,3, and 5.
