Then why didn’t they surrender after the first one?
Better yet, why did they refuse to surrender after we warned them before we even dropped the first one?

They were not. There was a big divide between the Japanese Military and the Imperial family, who could have surrender way before the first bomb. Not to mention they had fair chance to surrender even after the first bomb was dropped.

Lulz. They literally had an attempted military coup after we dropped the first one because they wanted to keep fighting.
