What’s wrong w a benefit only going to those who can earn it and have that value? You think because people’s feeling are going to be hurt that those who can capitalize shouldn’t be allowed to? Schools still give those players scholarships and all the perks that come with them, now we have to feel bad for them too?

Your view is to continue to ignore the realities of today’s college football. You make constant nonsensical exceptions to preserve something that doesn’t even exist. It’s truly bizarre.

You're just rambling, and the few questions that were relevant, I have already answered. Meanwhile, you didn't address the issue of these schools who stand to benefit from big brands like Nike and Adidas. Schools will use that influence to dominate recruiting.

The people who are really getting their feelings hurt are people like yourself, who are allowing your hearts to bleed because you think the world is so unfair for these athletes. They have it a lot better than most people. They don't work any harder at their craft than anyone else does at any other craft. The "value" athletes represent is all about what we, the fans, place on them. That puts them in a place of tremendous privilege. But now, that's not enough. Well, sorry. There are too many potential issues, and a very real possibility for huge corruption to come from this.

I think they should receive a stipend. I think they WILL receive a stipend, sooner than later.
