You are really gonna freak out when you find out that Johnson and Johnson makes bandaids for both Walmart brand and their brand.

They all do and even in the same facilities. They'll just do separate runs. One day, they package the slightly shittier stuff to brand as great value. Later, they package their own name brand, full price product.
This is true for anything that has a store brand. The store isn't doing it themselves, they're contracting out. And the manufacturer isn't going to package the exact same thing with 2 different brand names at different prices. They'll lose money. Especially since I believe Walmart forces some manufacturers to make a great value label in order to get distribution of their main brand.
