no matter what you have been told if you apply logic you will realize that there is no one on the planet more interested in the next viable energy sources than current energy companies.

Only the majors and only kinda so far...maybe it ramps up. I do know that two big energy PE firms have put together their own alt-energy funds recently as a hedge and probably because the E&P and Midstream markets are total dog shite for the last couple years...maybe there's a return in green.
