Pilgramage Festival is this weekend. Watch game and drive 30 min to Franklin to catch a good weekend of music. Kevin Griffin of Better than Ezra founded this festival and the big acts this weekend are The Killers and Foo Fighters. Good bands all weekend.

pretty strong list. this guy knows a few things.

i would add that my favorite hole in the wall in east nashville for margs is 'el fuego' who makes $3.99 margaritas from scratch.

I gotta admit, I respect this list.

I normally hate people's cheesy Nashville suggestions, but this is solid.

in printers alley is so much fricking fun. People should check that out if they're downtown. Its a non-honkey tonk.

are there local businesses around the stadium that offer gameday parking?

I'm not sure, but there are houses that offer their front yards.

Honestly, I'd just Uber. This isn't LSU and Baton Rouge. You should be able to get Ubers.

Yeah, I didn't even include it (will add now though) because I didn't consider it. It's not really an issue here. You can honestly park on the street in Sylvan Park or a local neighborhood for free and take an $8 Uber or just walk/scooter 1 mile to the stadium. If you want to drive, there are some businesses/churches that will offer parking for $10-20. But please do not pay more than $10 or $15 to park here.

find a good restaurant nearby to have brunch at then just leave your car in the parking lot & uber over for $3.

i'm laughing while typing this thinking about what its like in baton rouge on game days.

quick change of clothes and the band isn't playing the whole game or doing music for halftime show. CPA doesn't have a 'real marching band' which has been a sore spot for years. just a small group that plays 4-5 songs during the game.

Solid list...I'd also add Demonbreun/Midtown bars as a good area to check out, especially right after the game since they're near Vandy and inbetween the campus and downtown.

A lot of my friends who have some in from out of town love Arrington Vineyards south of town as well.

Same. Drove next to Vanderbilt before the Georgia game running errands and completely didn't realize it was a gameday.

This isn't Baton Rouge/LSU. Just Uber or park anywhere within .5 miles and walk.

Please check out that the I-65/I440 intersection will be closed south of the city. Going to Franklin could be an issue!
