re: Stupid things you did as a kid/adult

Christmas Day about 1957, me and all my friends had gotten the little Daisy BB guns. We “assaulted” an old abandoned wreck of a house’ shooting those Bbs everywhere. As I Ran at the door, I shot the Imaginary Nazi standing in front of it. The BB must have hit a nail as it ricocheted back and hit me square between the eyes.
I thought about that put your eye out warning dad said that morning.
A cousin of mine at about the same age wasn’t as lucky a year or 2 later. He lost his eye.
