re: Stupid things you did as a kid/adult

Was raining and water was flowing down the side of the street toward sewer opening about 100 or so yards down from the house in our neighborhood. Had the bright idea to pour just a little bit of gas onto the water and light it. Was pretty cool watching a small flame burning on the water.

Decided to do a bunch of gas. Lit it and the gas had spread down about halfway down the gutter to the gutter so I had a floating gas fire about 2 houses wide like something out of a movie. Dad turned down the street just about that time. Received an arse whipping like he had a flashback to his days in Vietnam.

Now that I understand gas I am pretty lucky I didn't kill myself with that gas and matches.
