that simply want our tax dollars or want to grab a big lawsuit on behalf of the state
Latest filing of Gumbo Pac receipts and expenditures
While JBE limited how much we pay out in cash every year on film welfare he did not cap how many credits we issue that will one day be redeemed. It is easy to understand how the medicaid providers are happy with the big welfare $$ increase. The lawyers are the most sinister wanting huge lawsuits against any pocket of money they can get--specifically oil companies now. (Isn't it ironic that they are not interested in going after the collectors of royalties like the Long family and the Perez families that still collect royalties I presume from the leases they obtained through political connections decades ago??)
Looks like in the previous quarter they must have hit up the video gaming industry and the "pain management centers" that love all those medicaid paid opioid prescriptions and doctor office visits.

You can see from the contributors the kind of Louisiana JBE wants---rich lawyers that are his friends, rampant video gambling, wealthy special interest like film makers and big welfare.

Interesting that they use Beychok Ourso.
The same consultants that are helping the SG opposition.
