You have an area that services have been underfunded while the area keeps growing.

The metro council is funding wants instead of needs. When you hear the council debate and find money to supplement a private industry aka grocery stores while there no enthusiasm other issues something wrong.
This parish has flooding problems with no plan or enthusiasm. Where is the enthusiasm to fix roads in neighborhoods, smaller parish roads, and maintain sides of these roads?

A lot of people in this area flooded while assistance to help people get permits or direction on how to rebuild was poor throughout this parish.
Other towns that flooded supported their community a lot better where unincorporated were left in the dark.
EBRP metro council along with the mayor president did the bare minimum which is unacceptable.

Sheriff dept has only 7 officers on duty in this area which most deputy’s are pulling duty in Gardere. It is a shame that a lot of smaller towns have more officers on duty per shift than this area does.

Garbage has been spotty while nothing has been done. There is a contract which if followed would solve a lot of the missed service issues. The metro council has refused to follow the contract instead choosing to have pixy and fairy dust meetings which nothing changes.

80,000 or more people deserve better than what they are paying for. They had four years to show this area they would make improvements while nothing has been done.

My vote will reflect it is time for a change.
In my opinion the City of BR and Parish governments need to spilt to serve the people of this parish and The City of BR residents better.
