Because the Left believes that scoring virtue/effort/superiority points over the Right and any dissenters, by any means necessary, is good and righteous.

Dishonesty, hypocrisy, obfuscation, violence, law breaking... it’s all fair game in their book as long as it’s against those who don’t agree with them.

They are consumed by certain insecurities... guilt, excessive empathy, self-loathing, extreme fear of uncertainty, and it makes them crazy full of resentment, anger, and hatred because at the same time, they truly believe they are intellectually and morally superior in thought and purpose.
