re: Pass Rush

Arandas 3-4 isn’t like a Wade Phillips or Dom Capers style 3-4 that brings both OLBs a lot. He has a rush LB and a Drop LB on the outside so you’re not going to get those high sack totals and edge guys screaming off the edge. However with Divinity playing more outside than we first thought vs Texas it might not be a bad idea to use some of those type rushes. When Aranda blitzes he brings 6 men a lot of the time weakening our coverage. If he used Divinity and Chassion on more 5 man rushes it could be a big advantage for us. Even using a 5 man front look just to disguise our 4 man pressures at the college level could also help. I just think with the emergence of Clarke allowing Divinity to move back outside more it could be something beneficial that we didn’t initially plan on having. The one time I saw him use Divinity and Chassion on that double edge blitz was when Divinity got his sack late in the game and Chassion was right there too.
