I live on the outskirts of Tara (technically not in Tara but the streets are all connected). We really like the area, I wish my street personally had sidewalks but the rest of Tara does.
The only crime we have noticed in the 5+ years of living there and paying attention to Nextdoor was one guy breaking into cars one morning. But like 10 people had camera footage of him even if it wasn't their house.
I don't live my the boulevard so can't really comment on the HS being there but its not like the kids going to Tara loiter around the neighborhood after school.
