This is BS. My wife is a teacher and her principal doesn’t suspend anymore either. Then the principal gets up at meetings and brags about stats she’s submitting to the school district showing how suspensions are way down. The behavior is still there but there’s no punishment.

Which is the principal passing the buck to the next school.
Wonder why HS is a disaster? Middle schoolers who can’t behave.
Why are middle schools a disaster? Elementary school kids who can’t behave.
And a lot of those problem elementary school kids have shitty parents which create a lot of the original bad behaviors.
No one wants to fix problems while the kids are young and can still be corrected.
