Texas Lurkers and Posters : A few questions.

Ill try to sound as polite as possible here.
1) You say Texas is built to stop our new offense, but what can you really take away from a single game?
Honestly, even if we were built exactly like a B12 offense. Say we ran the Oklahoma State playbook. Texas hasnt proven that they are able to stop that. Gave up 38 to that offense and failed to outscore it. And as you can see, GA State was a glorified scrimmage that showed next to nothing.
2) Where is this confidence in your defense coming from anyways?
First, LSU is better than LA tech at every position on offense. And they put up a metric frickton of yardage on you through the air. They threw it over 50 times which obviously means the running game was non existent. Ours isnt. LSU will throw it about 25-30 times , and thats IF our running backs arent cutting through you like butter. And in space?
pray to your God Herman that Emery doesnt break some ankles .
3) What is the Texas plan to create pressure?
I see Orlando likes to blitz. Managed one sack against LA Tech and 1 QB hurry . Ehlinger might be a hoss, but Burrow has a lot of strengths, and picking up a blitz is one of them. LSU now gets the ball off much faster and these running backs will be able to abuse a blitz happy defense. LSU fans know because we were in the same boat last year. Absolutely no pass rush due to injury.
4) How good is Ehlinger with defenders in his face?
Im sure Ehlinger straight abused the B12 with his powerful runs. But im willing to put money down that he hasnt encountered a defense with speed that can get around a block and catch him from behind. Just curious.
Bottom line, get ready. Chaisson seems to be on a mission, and im sure the best freshman DB in the nation and company will love to show Texas who DBU actually is.

Texas fans are excited about their team, and hopeful they can beat LSU. Why is this shocking to so many of our fans?

Id like to get some opinions.

At this point they are just talking with their asscheeks.
The only way Texas beats us is if Burrow can’t find a way to get 20 points. Because Texas isn’t scoring 20 on us.

This is silliness. There is no "magic offense"...otherwise, everyone would be running it. So long as it is a modern (diverse) offense that allows for playmakers to make plays - it is all about Execution and Personnel.
Bama has been so successful because it has both. LSU now has the modern enough offense and it has Personnel. The question left is execution. The evidence from Saturday is that the execution APPEARS to be there. We shall see.
But, the idea that "we have the D built for that" is ridiculous.

I agree. But its a big talking point for them.

Oh, I know. The "silliness" and "ridiculous" were aimed at THEM...not you

1) It doesn't get much better than OU on offense
2) I don't have a ton of confidence here. Will take a great gameplan from coaching staff. Maybe that's the answer, our coaches do seem to rise to the occasion in bigger games
3) Various looks and disguised blitzing. I am not an x's and o's guy so i'm just parroting here but that's what I've always heard about Orlando and it seems to have worked against Georgia (yeah, I know, they weren't trying).
4) I don't really know. He seems to be a quarterback coming into his own and very much a team leader. I expect him to be a part of the rushing attack (yeah, I know, career over if he tries that)

Christ. I think Emery is damn good, but y'all need to quit with him breaking the ankles of some 2* DB.

Expect many Sugar Bowl vs. UGA responses. Then ask them to compare LSU vs UGA last season. We will hang up and listen.

One good bell ring from Chaisson and he will change his tune about putting his shoulder down for that extra 2 yards.
No exaggeration. That dude is scary.

Thank you for replying dude
We saw Burrow get harassed against florida last year, but I wondered if Ehlinger had gotten a taste yet.

I referenced Oklahoma State though, not Oklahoma.
I tried to go with a team that beat Texas, but isnt as prolific as Oklahoma.

He broke the ankles on one of LSU's 4* DBs in that practice vid
