Need a new tablet recommendation

Mainly for 1st grade son. Uses for online school platforms Lexia and First in math.
Some Netflix. ESPN 3
Not looking for a $500 tablet, nor the cheapest thing possible.

I like Asus Zenpads and you can get 8" ones very cheap (sub-$200)
