Nope. Disabling their boat by emptying a 9mm into the hull with them sitting in the boat is not an "entirely reasonable" solution. Not when the "ramming" is more "reasonably" described as bumping your boat. Particularly when all you have to do is start your boat, leave, and let the cops handle it. Handling this situation in the manner you suggest, IS what is going to get our guns taken away from us.

In this situation, I agree.

Now if they were in a much bigger boat, one in which they could do some serious damage or potentially harm you, then I think it would be a different story.
