Botswana "is the shite" and his favorite place for that.

Can Confirm

Can't speak for the back half of that trip but the first few days are really similar to the schedule I did when I went.

Botswana was amazing. one of the thing's I'll never forget is everyone having to walk across this gross tiny sponge sitting in this Oil-looking substance that got microbes or diseases off our shoes so as to not bring them into the country from Zimbabwe

Chobe was breathaking. real life lion king shite. forget Disneyworld. This is the real deal Holyfield.

So many elephants crossed the road in front of us as we were driving around.

I went at about this same time and the weather was like 40's at night and the place we stayed had a fire to heat the water for the shower and I took the coldest shower of my life in Zimbabwe one morning but the Lions were growling as our wake- up call.

Your kids will thank you for this trip.

They're very excited. The oldest (14 now) has gone once with his grandmother a year ago. He's been all over the world and to our surprise, this was the most impactful, impressive trip he's ever been on. And that's saying a lot as he's been to Spain, France, Italy, Norway, Alaska, Belize, Roatan, an more. He's begged us to take him back to Sabi, and for his little brother to see the things he's seen. This kid doesn't get excited about much so I believe it's the real deal! His grandmother agrees.

Also excited about the cooler weather. I definitely think long days of safari would be less appetizing with higher temps.
