He was one of the first who would come down on a 3 on 1 fast break, stop, and pull up for a three. He had zero conscience at times.

Also, the behind the back pass from the top of the key to under the basket at 55/56 seconds is awesome

And was a pretty terrible shooter for an NBA PG

If he was a good shooter at all, he would've had an incredible career. But all he could really do was make highlight reel passes and moves to the basket.

Early in his career, yes. His three point shooting was much improved later in his career, due to better shot selection.

Sure he improved but he never shot 40+% from 3 in a season and ended his career shooting 32% from 3

Not many point guards ever have, but I agree shooting wasn’t his strength
