After 1 week I had another xray and they broke it into about 8 or 9 pieces and I passed those within 2 days of having the stent removed.

I was asleep for the initial procedure but not asleep when they had to remove the stent. That wasn't the most pleasant feeling.

that is how mine was removed.

I have passed one myself that got stuck coming out, and I had to pull it free.
