They have NO issue with LSU. Guys, I am a lifelong LSU fan who bleeds purple and gold. In the same situation - a kid with a possible brilliant future at QB but who needs great development in college - there is no way I would have sent my kid to LSU. LSU was shitty at developing QBs. By the time Saban made a name for himself Eli was already at Ole Miss.
That family is going to strongly advise Arch to go to one of the schools that has a stable offensive coordinator who is a great teacher of the skills they think will compliment Arch’s style. If LSU is one of those schools LSU will be on their approved list. In other words, they love their kid more than any school - as they should.

Probably the 2 plays in 4 seconds that LSU ran to beat Ole Miss a long time ago. Peyton has said he'd of gone to LSU if Booty hadn't committed there. How much truth there is to this is anybody's guess. It's ok though. Louisiana got it's payback for the slight in 2009.
