The National Civil Rights Museum @ the Lorraine Motel is interesting, and considering national events, very much worth a visit these days.
The Sun Studios or Stax tours are great if you're into music.
A very small museum with limited collections/galleries is the Metal Museum. It's up on a bluff, with nice small grounds overlooking a bend in the MS river. Probably only interesting if you're into metalcraft, but I enjoyed it & esp enjoyed the lovely view. Has a working forge & blacksmiths, etc demonstrating during certain hours. Not much around it, so it's a drive in/drive away sort of place. Link: LINK
