A better analogy is how people who call people islamophobes are actually anti-Christianity. It’s called projection. The “phobia” naming craze is a deflection. People aren’t afraid of homosexuals but by using this language, homosexual advocates are attempting to imbue homosexuality with meaning as something powerful enough to be feared.
