He really sees double teams in the NBA?

He has played the last couple seasons without an NBA PG or PF and rookies/G Leaguers. You wonder if he gets doubled?

He’s been in the league for 4 years and the Suns aren’t any better. Nice player but not as good as his stats would say.

Devin Booker's PGs last year were a rookie who didn't even play in college the year before, a teenager from Europe who averaged about 25 mpg and a career journeyman who snapped his leg in half the previous year.

His center was a talented but limited rookie. His PF was a SF who was injured most of the year. He had Kelly Oubre as a legit NBA ready rotation guy. His team was so bad, Tyler Johnson's brief stint before he got hurt made the team much better. But sure, Booker is bad because he didn't carry that disaster to 40+ wins.

I can’t think of any player that won 15-25 games for 4 years then went on to a be a difference maker. At some point you have to elevate your teammates if you’re the type of guy Suns fans think he is. The Kings had been a bigger train wreck than the Suns but Fox got them to 40 wins.

Fox didn't get them to 40 wins by himself. They had a legit rotation of NBA players who had been in the league for a few years. They also had a decent coach. Booker had a minute of Hornacek, Earl Watson, Jay Triano and Igor Kokoskov. This is the first season Booker has had a decent roster. Still not a great coach, but at least he has NBA players around him, although they have no bench players to score.
