Has anyone heard of any reports if they are starting to catch any fish in the Atchafalaya spillway with the water dropping? Water levels are getting pretty close to what most look for.

Fished a tournament last weekend and most people went to the spillway. We caught some fish in Grand lake, but a majority of the people fished bayou sorrel area or went across the Atchafalaya River. Its not on yet but it’s getting close.

Went Wednesday and yesterday. Plenty of ten inch throwbacks a few 2lb range. Still not “on” yet
