Man, we did 3 days at DL Memorial Day weekend and it was perfect
Never waited more than 20 minutes. Rode every ride in both parks 3x. You can’t beat staying across the street and just walking over and never taking a bus.
I also like how you can just drive 20 minutes and have dinner on the beach and do other things around SoCal.
Oh yeah, did I mention it never got above 68 degrees all week? Amazing.

DL is a great park to go to, it's more of a local park than a lot of tourists. A lot of the classic rides still there and ones still at WDW are different than at DL. It's definitely the better park to go to if you want to deal with less people. WDW is getting to be insane no matter the time of year.
