New Hampshire is ranked 47th in per capita gun ownership.

Alaska is #1 (61.7%), Arkansas #2 (57.9%) and so on.

SEC is well represented.

Missouri tied for 35th, Georgia at 28th, Florida at 24th, Texas at 18th, Tennessee at 15th, Kentucky at 14th, Mississippi at 13th, South Carolina at 12th, Louisiana at 11th and Alabama at 8th.

I had received my information from a trusted source, but she might've said 13th instead of 3rd and I misheard it. According to the data linked below, NH ranks 13th in gun ownership which is still very high.

I would make the following 2 points:

1) Guns aren't the problem. People are the problem.

2) Most of the areas with the highest murder rates also have some of the strictest gun laws. Taking guns away from law-abiding citizens might make some of them sitting ducks, but it won't solve the problem of gun violence.
