Why are you latching on to Kansas?
My point is that most coaches show they can do their thing (whether it's calling plays, being a head coach or whatever) at smaller or less prominent programs before moving on to the big boys. Most top notch programs aren't big on being a proving ground for inexperienced coaches. Maybe that's what we're doing though. And maybe it will work out well.

So you can't think outside the box.

Enisminger will be sitting right beside Joe all season long. Having Joe actually doing some planning and calling the play to the sidelines in s few situations is a minimal step from where he is.
