OT Opinion Needed - Cross-Country Mover Recommendations

Over the years, I have tried convincing my elderly grandparents to move closer to family to no avail. However, I have finally convinced them to move to Baton Rouge to keep them out of an assisted living facility (my grandfather recently fell and broke his hip and my grandmother has two knee replacements and is a diabetic). They currently have in home help, but this is very costly and I am concerned they are not getting the same care they would receive from family.
Does anyone have any experience hiring cross country movers? Pros? Cons? Things to look out for? They have a fully furnished 3 bedroom house. This looks to be very expensive, however I don't think I can take the time off needed to fly to Pittsburgh, pack their house, and drive a U-Haul to Baton Rouge. Additionally, the reviews online are ether really horrible or they are excellent without any in between. Thanks in advance.

Uhaul U-box containers are a nice way to go of your able to pack yourself. But you can always hire movers as well for this.

I thought about this as well as PODS, but they would probably need multiple. I do not know how cost effective that would be.

I just used two men and a truck. Was about half the quoted price of the other long distance movers(Mayflower and united) they offer packing services as well and are insured.
I'm not sure if the other big movers would do a better job with the packing or not.
Biggest pro to why we used them besides the cost was that they gauranteed next day delivery of our stuff as opposed to having to wait several week window and live out of suitcases in the mean time.
ETA:
I don't have any personal experience with united/Mayflower aside from getting quotes. They are just too expensive unless you have a company paying your expenses. I've done 3 long distance moves using pods for 1, uhaul myself and two men and a truck. Definitely would do two men and a truck again. If I had expensive furniture or antiques, I might think about a bigger name mover to move it. The two men and a truck guys, while good, probably weren't the most experienced in moving. More like hire hands who do a pretty good job packing and protecting.

Lastly: the bigger long distance moving companies all do quotes based on weight. So if you have a person who underestimates the weight everything, you might get footer with a bigger bill.
Two men and a truck did a flat rate per 26' truck. So obviously if you have just enough stuff to push you over one truck, you might want to just get rid of stuff instead of paying for a second truck.

All of their stuff should fit into a 26' truck. Did they pack and go straight to the destination?
Edit: I do see this is the case with their expedited option. Thank you for the advise, I will look into this.

I had packed everything in boxes myself. But yes, they loaded everything up and drove down and unloaded the next day. This was from Richmond to Savannah.
Not sure if they would tack on a day if you chose to get them to pack everything as well.
All in all for this move was around $5k(I opted for the full valuation insurance). For comparison, quote from united for the same move was $8-9k without a gauranteed delivery date.
