It's a silly attack that's not going to work and besides, the house is democrat controlled so his participation is irrelevant.
I think it's relevant. I'd like to know his explanation. He's getting paid to be a member of Congress and part of that is to be in DC for votes.
There may be a perfectly good explanation for it. But I don't think we can pretend it doesn't matter.

He answered that question at one of the fundraisers that I went to. Abraham owns his own plane. He can do his work in DC and then get on his own plane and fly himself back to La in about 5 hours.

Louisiana Congressman Ralph Abraham doesn't like the uncertainty and inconvenience of commercial air travel. So Abraham, R-Alto, occasionally commutes to his Washington, D.C., job on his own plane, a sleek red and white Cirrus SR 20 that can zip through the sky about 165 miles per hour.
So he can vote, go to committee meetings, etc and then fly his own plane back to Louisiana. He also uses his plane to transport poor patients from his district to St. Jude or the Texas Medical Center.
