got to structure the car situation by making them share the responsibility and learn fiscal responsibility without making it an impossible situation for them to have a car, I'm also of the opinion that a kid having a car is not some sort of teenage birthright, they don't need one just because Braxtyn got one

If it's something new and rad, I understand this mindset. Wouldn't you be tired of juggling work hours to take them to school and work, though?

It was late in my senior year of high school before I had saved enough for a car, and I don't feel like my teen years were lost or that I missed out in any way. My older bro had a car, and mom and dad had one, so there was one usually available if I needed to drive myself somewhere.
