I was there. If not for Les Miles' intransigence and the grotesque manner that season ended, I think Reid's interception would have been remembered as the single greatest individual defensive play in the history of LSU football. But of course, after the humiliation of 1/9, it will be relegated to nothing more than interesting footnote in the annals.

BS. It IS probably the greatest most impactful defensive play in LSU history.
This was the epic fight to the death and we won. 1/9 is the footnote. The BCS is gone; we ended the season by beating UGA for the title.
