Scholarship questions

I have a question concerning the scholarships. I just read on the Advocate that they just gave Michael Smith a scholarship and I know Avery Atkins just got one also. That puts us at 86 including Ed Ingram and Donte Starks. Who lost their scholarship? Thanks

Wouldn’t Kelvin Joseph transferring open up a scholarship? If Donte Starks isn’t enrolled in school then he would not count as a scholarship. He does counts towards the 25 signees last year.

I'm pretty sure that Joseph's spot has been filled but we have 86 players on scholarship unless Connor Culp, Aaron Moffitt or Zach Von Rosenberg is off scholarship.

I thought von Rosenberg was a walk on already, But I guess he could have been given a scholarship which here but I know when he returned to LSU that he walked on

Growden just recently left too.
He was the scholarship punter.
Not sure if Rosenberg ever got put on schollie.
He had money in the bank when he came back from playing baseball and the organization he played for may have guaranteed his college education once baseball ended.
It's always good to reward those walk ons that have earned it and it's usually only a one year commitment.
Unless you have an immediate need to fill that scholarship with a transfer like Burrow. But then again the Giles transfer was a disaster so you have to be careful.

Von Rosenberg was on scholarship last year. I remember seeing an article in the Advocate last year along with 3 other guys who have since graduated. Maybe he doesn't have it this year.
